Bridge Street is the ideal home base for your retreat to PEC. An authentic country home with a cozy charm, but lovingly restored and renovated with just the right mix of stylish touches. Spacious both inside and out, ideal for families, group of friends, or company retreats - large enough that everyone has a seat at the dinner table ; ).

Legitimately one of the first houses ever in Picton, built in 1840 but looking incredibly good for her age. This two-storey brick residence has been updated from top to bottom to offer a more contemporary take on an historic heritage home.

Art-inspired design in each and every room, featuring an array of local artists and pieces from around the world, everything from colourful cityscapes to clever Canadiana.

Rooms of all shapes and sizes to sleep 9 comfortably - the primary with ensuite, the second bedroom with fireplace, the twin bunkroom, and the sunroom with a comfy futon pullout. Plus 3 full bathrooms, with rain shower faucets and a classic, old school deep soak tub.

- Modern, roomy kitchen, with new stainless steel appliances

- Long dining room table, to host meals fresh from the BBQ

- Carefully curated furniture, the right balance of sleek and snug

- Smart TV, for rainy day Netflixing!

- Fenced-in backyard with a little over half an acre of greenspace

- Two big sun-filled decks, perfect for quiet morning coffees

- And more than enough cozy spots to dive into a good book

- Ample room for groups of friends and families to come chill.

We've also hosted many bride-to-bes over the years, the perfect home base for your Prince Edward County bachelorette. The house is also equipped to host company retreats, complete with a whiteboard, flipchart paper, and all the WiFi you'll need. A literal stone's throw from the Picton Harbour, steps from the main strip, and a short jaunt to all of the wonderful wineries, beaches and beauty that the County has to offer.

Distance to some of our favourite spots around the County:

- Sandbanks - 14min drive

- The Vic Cafe - 8min walk

- Black Prince Winery - 3min drive

- Lake On The Mountain Brewery - 6min drive

- Waupoos Winery - 14min drive

- Regent Theatre - 7min walk

- Lighthouse Restaurant - literally, could not be closer

Also worth noting, this home is legit around the corner (2min walk) from our other vacation rental property on Union Street. If you're a large group of 10-20, headed to the County for a family reunion, wedding, or corporate retreat, contact us about our discounts for booking both properties together. We’re here if you have any questions at all about your upcoming stay :)

Also, in light of Covid-19, rest assured our cleaning crew is following all recommended guidelines from health officials and travel platforms - using approved disinfectant products, wearing gloves and masks, and cleaning all surfaces (from door knobs to light switches, salt & pepper shakers, and everything in between).

One more thing... it's worth noting that our home is not a setting for large events, loud music, or disruptive parties. We expect guests to be respectful of our neighbours at all times, and in accordance with local by-laws keep outside noise to a minimum, and quiet hours after 11pm. Please treat both our home and our neighbourhood as you would your own.

So Much Character

Six of us stayed at Dans' home and slept comfortably with ample room. This home is very beautiful and has so much character. Check in was easy and restaurants and shops were a short walk away. Even though it's on the main road, it still feels very private. I would definitely stay here again.

Spacious, Stylish & Hip Finishes

We had an incredible weekend while staying at The Dans' beautiful home in Picton. The home was spotless, well decorated with stylish and hip finishes, spacious, and perfect for our small group of 3. Our puppy appreciated the fenced backyard as well! In addition to the home itself, the location was very convenient just walks away from local cafes and shopping. Would 100% recommend, and hope to visit their home again soon!

Didn’t Want To Leave

What a gorgeous space! I was so obsessed with the perfect balance of design between the historic roots and the modern touches. I honestly didn’t want to leave after our two night stay! The location was to central you can walk everywhere locally and also so close for some near by hiking at the sand dunes. We had 6 guests and all felt like we had our own space and so many washroom options we where never tripping over each other. The dining room was fabulous for family dinners and it paired nicely with the huge kitchen to prep everything. Thank you Dans for checking on us to make sure that we had everything we needed during our stay it was so appreciated you are such fantastic hosts! I hope I’ll get to stay again one day!

Our Second Visit to the Dans'

This was our second visit to the Dans so we knew what to expect - great space in a great location (In town yet private); lots of space; bright & cheerful, interesting decor; comfortable and clean. Great place for a gathering of friends.

Tremendous Value

This home is cozy, stylish and offers tremendous value. The adults loved the long dining table and the 3 fireplaces. The kids enjoyed the large yard and walks to the harbour. It was such a treat!
